History
Focus and pioneering spirit
In just a few years, Globeteam has achieved a position as an important and competent player in the Danish consultancy market. Today, we service some of the largest companies in Denmark – public as well as private – and in 2009 we expect the turnover to reach DKK 70 million.
Globeteam was founded by the present chairman of the board, Erik Arnbak, and the present managing director and member of the board, Claus Moldow. They knew eachother from the consultancy firm Aston and based on their long and fruitful collaboration, they decided to start their own IT company.
Globeteam saw the light of day in 2001
With their new firm, the two experienced consultants and managers offered services in the areas of IT strategy, project management and Microsoft products.
Unlike other consultancies, the founders developed a unique business model which ensures a strong commitment between the individual consultant, the customer, and Globeteam. This system is a major factor in our ability to continuously attract and retain important and interesting customers as well as skilled and dedicated consultants.
New business areas
In 2004, the turnover exceeded DKK 20 million and a new business area – ERP – was introduced.
As the company grew and the needs of the customers changed, it became necessary to consolidate the strategies and the services; today, Globeteam concentrates on services within:
- Business process management and IT governance
- IT infrastructure and Microsoft’s product range
- Development of software, architecture and tests
- Consultancy and implementation of ERP systems.
In 2009, Globeteam won the Infrastructure Award for the third time – the first time was in 2005, the second time in 2007.
Our company culture is based on a pioneering spirit and on close cooperation between 60 consultants, the management and the board. In its short history, Globeteam has succeeded in developing the customer portfolio, expanding the field of competence and creating solid economic results.
